One of the best soldiers in his army, Ammans was always an idealist, and although he fought with great bravery and skill,

When he came upon Amoke's plight, all he saw was a damsel in distress, and immediately jumped to her aid. Falling in love
with the pretty young girl was the next natural step, but at first he pushed her away. He didn't mind the danger to
himself for meeting with the daughter of his mortal enemy, but he knew that if Amoke was found out the punishment for
dishonoring her father would be severe. But finally, when she demonstrated her willingness risk everything for love,
Ammans surrendered.
